The journey from editing to acting has been amazing, acting always had a very special place in my heart. Actress Jahnavi Dhanrajgir said this. She is playing the lead role in the film Bolo Hau. He shared experiences related to the film in an interview.

Tell us something about the film “Bolo Hau”?

Bolo Hau is a love story based in Hyderabad. It’s an all out entertainer with foot tapping music, creative choreography, humour and drama having all the flavours of Hyderabad. It’s a simple and innocent love story of Salman (Ankit Rathi) and Rukshar ( Me) and how we flow through an entertaining and dramatic story line,

How was it like working with the actor Ankit Rathi?

I had a great time working with Ankit. I think he’s very passionate about his craft and confident in front of the camera. We had a great time filming Bolo Hau. I hope people like our chemistry as Salman and Rukhsar.

Tell us something about your character in the movie?

I play the role of Rukhsar, a young, vivacious girl born into a conservative Nawab family who falls in love with Salman. She has a mind of her own and isn’t afraid to hold her ground, she stands for what she believes in.

What do you love about that character?

Rukhsar is strong, sensitive, and kind – that’s what I found most attractive about her character.

You worked as an assistant editor and director. Tell us about your journey from behind the cameras to playing a lead role!

It’s been an overwhelming experience working as the lead actor in Bolo Hau. The journey from editing to acting has been amazing, acting always had a very special place in my heart. I’ve been performing for as long as I can remember – much before editing came into my life – but I never really considered pursuing it professionally until recently. I was a little apprehensive at first but as time went by and I couldn’t shake off the desire to perform, I realised that if I didn’t give this a fair shot, I’d live to regret it. So, here I am, taking that chance and hoping for the best.

Any upcoming projects?

Right now I’m busy with the Bolo Hau release and there are a couple of other things in the pipeline that I’m looking forward to. I am excited to see what the future holds.
