COLORS’ ‘Qayaamat Se Qayaamat Tak’ star Karamm Rajpal bounces back stronger after an injury
COLORS’ popular show ‘Qayaamat Se Qayaamat Tak’ has been keeping the viewers on the edge of their seats with its riveting love story based on reincarnation and real events. Starring the actors Karamm Rajpal and Trupti Mishra, essaying the roles of Rajneesh and Poornima respectively, the romantic thriller has been receiving rave reviews for their impeccable performances and chemistry. The show’s storyline is unfolding a wave of drama with Rajneesh’s parents standing in opposition to Poornima, accusing her of trapping their son.
Amid enlivening the suspense, romance, and thrill of the love story, Karamm Rajpal encountered an unexpected setback while shooting for an action sequence. The show’s action director, during rehearsal, accidentally hit the actor. The action sequence required precise timing, and unfortunately, the timing was off by a millisecond, resulting in the kick landing on Karam’s face. While there was no blood, the actor experienced a temporary headache, which was taken care of by a doctor on set. Showing remarkable resilience, Karamm composed himself after receiving medical attention and in no time rose to his feet, ready for the take.
Reflecting on the incident, Karamm Rajpal shared, “I think all the love that has come by for Qayaamat Se Qayaamat Tak inspired me to brave the pain of the injury. The team was super supportive and rushed to help me up when I was injured. I’m very grateful to have such loving and caring people around me. Right after, a doctor on the set examined me and gave me a few medicines for the pain I was experiencing in my head. As an actor, such challenges are an inherent part of our profession, and it is no one’s fault that I got hurt. My passion for being in front of the camera just dwarfs any difficulties I face, and I thank the almighty for giving me the strength to keep going.”
