DrOnApp Health partners with Mankind pharma to create awareness about telemedicine
· The app is a virtual clinic for patients booking an appointment through m-site link or the ptient app
· Available for both Apple and Android users
Delhi. DrOnA ( Dr on App) is a dedicated virtual-consultation platform to connect patients with their known doctors for consultations through audio and video both. It is available both on iOS and android stores, and offers a user-friendly experience through an intuitive and easy-to-use interface.
The partnership between DrOnA Health and Mankind, a leadng pharmaceutical company, will create synergies for the benefit of general public and medical practitioners at large as there is a discernable shift toward digital and people are increasingly adopting telemedicine not only for safety concerns but also as there will be a lot of saving in terms of time and travelling costs.
The soft launch of DrOnApp ( Dr on App) was done around 2.5 months ago and has over 10,000 doctors on its platform. The app is a virtual replica of an actual clinic – allowing doctors to manage both: in-clinic as well as online appointments.
Like any other platform, the consultation fee is fixed by the doctor. Patients only have to pay a convenience fee of 7.5%, which is one of the lowest among the competitors. Further, payments are settled the next day giving the security of their respective fees to doctors.
Mr Rajeev Juneja, CEO, Mankind Pharma, said: “Covid-19 has disrupted most sectors, leading to a fundamental shift in human behaviour. Virtual meetings are now a new normal.
DrOnApp will not only keep everybody safe by maintaining social distancing but also creates a tremendous opportunity for providing quality healthcare to the public across socioeconomic status and in remotest areas.”
