For the first time in the history of Indore, two day National Conference’Skull Base Indore 2022′ is going to be heldby Skull Base Surgery Society of India
• Leading neurosurgeons from India and abroad will be participating in this two-day conference

Indore 27th April 2022: Conference of Skull Base Surgery Society of India“Skull Base Indore 2022” shall be held at Laser Auditorium, SAIMS medical college and PG Institute, Indore on 29th& 30th April, 2022. This is a two-daysconference that shall be attendedby leading neurosurgeons of India and abroad who specialize in surgeries of brain. Dr Rajneesh Kachhara, Director of neurosciences, Medanta Hospital Indore is the Organising Chairman of the conference. He is also the current President of the Skull Base Surgery Society of India. Dr PranavGhodgaonkar, Chief Neurosurgeon, CHL Hospital Indore is the Organising Secretary. This conference is being held in association of neurological society of Indore.
Speaking about the conference, Dr.Rajneesh Kachhara, Director, Neurosciences, MedantaSuper specialty Hospital, Indore says, “This conference is unique becausesuch a national conference is going to be held for the first time in the history of Indore. The conference is being attended by eminent neurosurgeons from India and abroad, and it will provide a better learning experience to the attendees. Along with this, excellent exchange of ideas between seniors and juniors will be seen in these two days.”
Around 200 neurosurgeons including the faculty and delegates are attending the conference. There are two hands on Cadaveric workshops detailing the techniques of performing complicated brain surgeries using endoscope and microscope. Delegates shall be guided by experts in the field. There are over 50 invited lectures covering all the aspects of the speciality. Faculty also includes speakers from USA, Japan, UK and Australia.
There shall also be the demonstration of new devices and technology which has been developed by leading companies in industry. Delegates shall have a chance to use the devices and learn about the new technologies. Various members from pharmaceutical industry are also participating and will display their technologies and products.
The inauguration of the conference will be done in the august presence of the chief guest Dr B K Misra, President, world Federation of skull base Societies on the evening of 29th April.
This is the first national conference of the Skull Base Surgery society of India in Indore.
This conference shall be an excellent learning experience for young neurosurgeons from around the country.
