Tiger Shroff roars as ACP Satya in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’

The much-awaited trailer of Rohit Shetty directorial ‘Singham Again’ is out, and it consists all elements of a blockbuster. What stands out is Bollywood’s boy wonder Tiger Shroff as ACP Satya, who is gearing up to unleash #TheTigerEffect to the fullest yet again in the actioner. A look at Tiger’s filmography and you’d know that whenever he’s taken over the screen as an action star, he’s left the box office ringing, which his films – ‘Heropanti’, ‘War’ and the ‘Baaghi’ franchise are shining examples of!

Tiger’s ‘Heropanti’ was a commercial success with over Rs 77.9 crore at the worldwide box office, which was a record breaking number for a new entrant! He continued his box office winning streak with ‘Baaghi’ franchise, which began in 2016. His performance in ‘Baaghi 2’ is still the most celebrated one. It went on to emerge as one of the highest-grossing films of 2018 with a collection of an estimated amount of Rs 254.33 crore at the worldwide box office, establishing the franchise as a formidable action franchise in Bollywood. Tiger’s ‘War’ kept the cash registers ringing at the theatres. With an estimated amount of Rs 475.62 crore, it became one of the highest-grossing Indian films of 2019, solidifying Tiger’s position as Bollywood’s youngest action superstar. And now, with ‘Singham Again’, the actor is set to repeat the success history.

In the trailer of the film, which marks Shroff’s “roaring” debut in Shetty’s cop universe, he shines and grabs attention as the youngest member of the cop universe. Several fans celebrated Tiger as a supercop, who has also solidified himself as a super entertainer for his action, dance and acting prowess. The actor will be seen sharing screen space with Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone and Jackie Shroff among others. The film is slated to hit the theatres this Diwali. Considering Tiger Shroff’s knack of delivering blockbuster franchises, his inclusion in the cop-verse only promises a theatrical experience like never before.

While admirers of Tiger Shroff, who’re lovingly known as Tigerians, are waiting for the film’s release, the actor is also gearing up to return on the silver screen with the fourth instalment in the ‘Baaghi’ franchise. Tiger Shroff had announced ‘Baaghi 4’ earlier this year. It is set to release next year.
