BIRTHDAY SPECIAL! Karan Singh Grover is a ‘Fighter’ and his journey is a proof.
As we celebrate Karan Singh Grover’s birthday today, it is an excellent time to reflect on his illustrious career, marked by impressive performances. Since his early days in ‘Dil Mill Gaye,’ Karan has been a consistent heartthrob, mesmerising audiences with his magnetic presence on screen.
In the iconic series ‘Dil Mill Gaye’, which marked his debut in the entertainment world, Karan portrayed the role of a charming doctor, Armaan Malik, which instantly made him a popular name among the television audience, especially the youth. His undeniable chemistry with co-stars added an extra layer of charm to the show, making it a fan favourite. Following his success in ‘Dil Mill Gaye,’ Karan continued to climb up the ladder of success and established himself to be one of the most popular television heroes. His fame continued with ‘Qubool Hai’, in which he gave an intense performance as Asad Ahmed Khan.
Right when the audience wanted more of Karan, he went on to foray in Bollywood and became one of the very few television stars to break into the silver screen. He did that at a time when moving from a medium to another was a challenge. He marked his film debut in 2008 but rose to fame with ‘Alone’, which starred him with his now wife Bipasha Basu. His recent release ‘Fighter’ has brought him another level of fame, success and spotlight.
But becoming a popular face in films didn’t stop Karan from returning to his maiden medium of entertainment. In 2019, Karan made a triumphant return to television with his role as Mr. Rishabh Bajaj in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’. He made waves with his digital debut in ‘BOSS: Baap of Special Services’, followed by his gripping performance in the web series ‘Dangerous’ in 2020. He also returned to play his iconic role of Asad in the web-series’ version of his television series ‘Qubool Hai’.
On the work front, Karan played Captain Sartaj ‘Taj’ Singh in the blockbuster ‘Fighter’, which has crossed over Rs 350Cr at the box office, making him one of the actors to be part of a film that is ruling the box office and earning moolah. Here’s hoping that the actor continues to amaze his audience and keep showing off his versatility on screen.
Happy birthday Karan!
