Kumar Sanu gifts a harmonium to contestant of Dil Hai Hindustani 2

Kumar Sanu, king of romantic songs who was present on StarPlus’ Dil Hai Hindustani 2 was very impressed with the worldwide talent on the show. Contestants have cast a magical spell with their scintillating performance on every guest who has appeared on the show.

12 year old Somya had mesmerised Kumar Sanu who was performing with her on ‘Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyan’. He wanted to hear her more so requested her to sing a couple of other songs too. The magic in her voice and expressions, made Pritam run to the stage and hug her. She was even gifted a harmonium as a token of love from the legendary singer, Kumar Sanu.

Commenting on the episode, Kumar Sanu reveals, “I have worked with many artists before but Somya is a very talented and unique at this age. She has been able to do things that even experts can’t do. Her expressions are so exceptional that I got lost in between the performance. Praises were not enough for the kid, hence I decided to gift her a harmonium which marks the essence of Indian music.

Somya nailed the entire performance with her expressions and body language. She was so happy that she almost had tears in her eyes. I am very obliged that I could perform with her and I am waiting for her to do the first playback.”
