PM Modi and Rockstar DSP share a hug on stage, latter performs ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ at Modi And US event
National Award-winning composer Devi Sri Prasad aka Rockstar DSP has made India proud yet again! He performed at the ‘Modi And US’ event, held in New York, which witnessed thousands of people in attendance. Not only he left the audiences enthralled with his performances on his chartbusters, he made everyone croon his composition ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ in unison to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the stage.
In a video, which is going viral on internet, Modi and DSP are seen exchanging greetings and a warm hug. Talking about his experience of performing in front of PM Modi, DSP said in a video, “Super happy to be part of this huge event of welcoming honourable Prime minister Narendra Modi to New York.”
He continued, “The day I got the opportunity to compose Har Ghar Tiranga, it is something that I can’t express in words. I put my heart and soul in composing the song. And today, getting the opportunity to sing the song to welcome him was an iconic and most cherished moment. The way he greeted me with a warm and lovable hug is something I’d never forget in my entire life. Thank you so much Modi ji. You are such a huge inspiration for all of us.”
DSP was the only composer-singer at the event, proving his global appeal. It has also become a teaser of what to expect from the composer’s upcoming India Tour, which is scheduled to kickstart in Hyderabad from October 19 this year. The pan India composer is currently looking forward to an interesting line-up. Fans are waiting to witness his music from Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, Suriya’s ‘Kanguva’, Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’, Dhanush’s ‘Kubera’, Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Thandel’, Ajith Kumar’s ‘Good Bad Ugly’, and Ram Charan’s untitled film.
