SAGARIKA GHATGE AND ANVESHI JAIN PROMOTE THEIR WEB SERIES BOSS IN INDORE

Indore. Packed with a heavy dose of action, drama, mystery and thrill, ALTBalaji’s original BOSS: Baap of Special Services promises to be a complete masala entertainer. The much-awaited web series marks the digital debut of ‘Chak De! Indiagirl Sagarika Ghatge and the handsome hunk Karan Singh Grover.

Actors Sagarika Ghatge and Anveshi Jain recently visited Indore for the show’s promotions and interacted with media and fans alike. The web-series, which launched on August 2, is now streaming on ALTBalaji.

BOSS revolves around Sudhir Kohli played by Karan Singh Grover, an undercover Cop who is a specialist in solving homicide cases or cases where criminals often go undetected. In each episode, there is a new mystery which has to be unfolded to unravel another mystery. 

Sudhir is a step ahead of everyone in his game, but tends to remain a mystery for everyone. He is a tough man on the exterior but is an emotional cop on the inside, who often goes by his gut and instinct. On the other hand, the actress is playing the character of a cop named Sakshi Ranjan in the show.

She is seen performing some daredevil stunts along with the lead actor and heartthrob Karan Singh Grover in the series in quest to solve some back-breaking cases. The chemistry between the two is sizzling as the lead pair can be seen romancing on-screen in what surely seems like a breath of fresh air. 

Speaking about the web-series, Sagarika Ghatge quipped, “At Indore, it was simply overwhelming to see the response that the show has garnered and the warmth that fans had to offer. It felt so great to see the love shown by the students of Swami Vivekanand College too who just gave us a nostalgia ride back to our college days. Having been fascinated by the character of a cop, itwas a role that I really wanted to play and I am glad that I got the chance to live this character andperform to the best of my abilities.”

Further, talking about her character, the actress said, “I play the role of Sakshi Ranjan, an ACP who heads the special task force in Shimla. She is somebody who is very righteous and very strong. She abides by her rules and believes in doing things. This is how she solves cases.”

Commenting on the same, Anveshi Jain said, “I have lived in Indore for two and a half and those were the most fruitful years for me as I was just starting my MBA. Along with my studies, I started my company DAZE GENISIS and ran it for two years. Then, I switched to events and as an emcee I did over 800 shows in Indore only. So, this city has truly given me a lot. I am delighted that I got a chance to come back here. Coming back to playing a pivotal role in BOSS, I loved playing this character as I have done something new this time and now I am eagerly waiting for the reaction of my fans.”

In each episode, there is a new mystery which has to be unfolded to unravel another mystery. The mission is to find a mysterious balloon man in the northern belt of India. Along with the leading pair, the series features an ensemble cast that includes Karan Singh Grover, Gaurav Gera, Ayaz Khan, Anveshi Jain, Kanika Maheshwari, Tarun Mahilani, Mahesh Shetty and Dalljiet Kaur in pivotal roles.
