Actor Sheezan Khan shares his experience of working with the famous CID team on a Pocket FM series

Actor Sheezan Khan recently shot for Pocket FM titled ‘Ek ladki ko dekha toh’ with the famous squad of CID. Sharing details on the same he says,”I got a call from the production house, and they mentioned that the main hero in the show is a negative character. As I was listening to the story, they mentioned the CID team would also be involved. That immediately caught my attention! Shivaji Satyam as ACP Pradyuman and Inspector Daya Shetty are also part of the case! Before I listened to the entire story, I said yes. I’ve always been a fan of CID, so this opportunity was too exciting to miss.”

He adds,”It was an incredible experience! When I arrived on set, I had the chance to meet the legendary ACP Pradyuman and Daya. I shook their hands, and honestly, it felt like a dream come true. I told them it was an honor to work with their iconic characters, something I had only dreamed of. Though it was a short role, it was very fulfilling for me. Working with them was such a special moment in my career. The most memorable moment was meeting ACP Pradyuman and Daya in person. I felt like a child in a candy store! Watching them work up close was eye-opening. Even though it was a one-day shoot, seeing how they operate and how much effort they put into their craft was amazing. I didn’t pick up any specific acting tips, but their dedication and professionalism left a lasting impression on me.”

Switching between a short film and working with these seasoned TV actors must be interesting. And Sheezan loves playing new dimensions of roles. “I love playing new and different characters, and that’s what drew me to this project. For this role, I played a negative character, which I thoroughly enjoyed. As I’ve always said, there are no small characters, only small actors. Whether it’s TV or OTT, I focus on the storyline. If the story resonates with me, I’ll do it. It doesn’t matter which platform it’s on.”

Sheezan shares he is motivated to explore a variety of roles. He says,”I don’t like being typecast, so I’m always on the lookout for characters that challenge me. I’ll continue to follow my heart and take on roles that excite me and bring something new to my audience. Whether it’s on TV or a digital platform, if the story is good, I’ll be there.”
