Being nominated for Best Supporting Actress, in itself is a huge win for me

Actress Shriyam Bhagnani made her mark in the digital space with her debut performance in Nagesh Kukunoor’s web series City of Dreams. And now the actress is nominated for Filmfare OTT Awards under the Best Supporting Actress category.

” I feel like SRK’s character from Om Shanti Om. It feels like I’ve been yearning for this for a lifetime now and honestly the nomination itself is a huge win for me especially when I’m nominated alongside such fine actors like Sheeba Chaddha Ma’am.”, Shriyam quipped about her Filmfare nomination.

Shriyam is Jackky Bhagnani’s cousin sister and has earlier done character roles in films like Baaghi 2 and Batti Gul Meter Chaalu. The actress’s role in City of Dreams as Tanya Mehta gained a lot of popularity for her candid and feisty performance. She was seen opposite Ankur Rathee and the two’s chemistry and on screen presence was a much loved track in Nagesh Kukunoor’s show.

Shriyam is currently reading scripts and will announce her future projects soon! As for now the girl is basking in all glory and keeping her fingers crossed to win her first award. The winners of the Filmfare OTT Awards will be announced soon!
