Mumbai’s Diwali has a certain appeal of its own; the city simply comes alive with lights that give you the impression that everyone is joining in the celebration. This year, even though I’m filming, the joyful vibe will permeate every take and be shared with the cast and crew like family. We might be able to smuggle some candy and diyas onto the scene.

This diwali I plan to kill the Ravana of ‘negative thinking’ and ask Ram ji for a positive mindset and a peaceful life! More of prayer and less of the patakas, which I used to enjoy a lot in childhood but not so much now. Auspiciousness of the festival should not get lost in the loud bangs and I hope people stick to the timing guidelines!!

Nothing much but will celebrate with friends. In my childhood I was always waiting for this festival with so many lights, sweets , crackers and Diwali is love, maybe I will wear a salwar suit this Diwali.

Diwali to me means meeting and celebrating with your closed one. Lots of fun and laughter and of course lights and diya and beautiful decor .It’s indeed a vibe we wait for all year long as the most important Indian festival . Post shoot catching up with friends and family .Dressing in my best Indian attire and being and celebrating the vibe. After diwali when my mom had gone crazy gifting people and celebrating us and she had organized a lovely family lunch.
