Cummins Turbo Technologies celebrates 25 years of powering India with Innovation, Dependability and Excellence

India. Cummins Turbo Technologies (CTT) Ltd., a global pioneer in providing turbocharger solutionscommemorated 25 years of powering the success of its customers in a grand celebratory event organized on Saturday, June 25 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

Inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. R. S. Sachdeva Chief Operating Officer VECommercial Vehicles Limited (VECV), the event commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony joined by the senior leadership team of Ashok Leyland and VECV along with the Cummins India Leadership Team including Ajay Patil – Chief Financial Officer, Subramanian Chidambaran, Strategy Leader, Anupama Kaul, HR Leader and Shubhankar Chatterji, Integrated Supply Chain Leader.

2022 is a special year for Cummins India as we celebrate 60 years of Cummins’ remarkable presence in India as well as 25 years of CTT India. Established in 1994 as a joint venture with the Tata Group of Companies as Tata Holset, CTT is now asole subsidiary of Cummins Inc. Cummins Turbo Technologies (CTT) is a global leader in air handling engineering design, producing the most durable and innovative turbochargers to meet global challenges of emission reduction, fuel efficiency, and total cost of ownership for engines ranging from 3 to 95 liters. CTT’s technical facilities in India develop air handling technology for global customers in a variety of markets, including on-highway, commercial vehicle, industrial, construction, agriculture, marine, and power generation.

CTT has facilities at Dewas and Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh in India that produce turbochargers for the Automotive, Powergen, Construction, and Off-highway segments with product lines ranging from high horsepower to mid-range and light-duty. The Dewas plant, spanning 19 acres caters to domestic customers, whereas, the Pithampur facility, spanning 11 acres is in Special Economic Zone (SEZ) exclusively catering to exports for global customers.Both the facilities are Green-co certified plants and are excellent places for women to work as they have a childcare center and a door-to-door drop facility for females working in B-shift.It also has a health-care center, a training center, and female security guards with round-the-clock security.
