Eisha Singh to make a mega comeback on Zee TV’s Ishq Subhan Allah
The show’s original leading lady is all set to return to the show approximately after a year
With the lockdown gradually lifting and people across the country stepping out into the new normal, Zee TV has resumed shoots of its shows and is all set to reconnect its audiences with the journeys of their beloved characters that have become their favourite dinner-table companions.
With an aim to reunite the audience with another such character that had struck a chord with the viewers, Zee TV’s Ishq Subhan Allah will see the return of the original Zara Siddiqui that was essayed by television actress Eisha Singh till last year.
Season one of Ishq Subhan Allah had ended with a heart wrenching twist when Zara (Eisha Singh) was assumed dead after her car having fallen off a cliff.
Viewers hoped for a magical turn of events that would reunite Kabir (Adnan Khan) and Zara, however the second season of the show brought in a fresh and engaging plot full of twists and turns between the lovestruck, grieving Kabir and a new Zara.
However, in a fresh twist post Lockdown, Eisha Singh will return in a new avatar and leave everyone stunned!
Assumed to be dead all this while, the real Zara a.k.a Eisha Singh will make an exciting comeback into the lives of Kabir and his family. She will be seen in an all new avatar, though – that of a music healer who believes in the extraordinary healing powers of music and its potential to revive even the most depressed.
Questioning Kabir’s prior mindset that music is haraam as per his interpretation of religion, she challenges his traditional belief system, while denying that she is the Zara of his life.
Speaking about returning to this character, an excited Eisha Singh said, “While I left for certain personal commitments at my end, somewhere at the bottom of my heart, this show was always my baby and it is such an absolute delight to return to the character of Zara. It’s like coming back home considering Ishq Subhan Allah was my second show on Zee TV and the entire cast and crew were like a family to me.
I shared quite a close bond with all of them and my co-star, Adnan Khan. We had quite a compatible and comfortable equation and I am sure the audience is as excited to reconnect with Zara and Kabir and the undying love that they shared. I had left with a bag full of memories and now I am back with that same bag to make new ones.”
While the new innings of the show promises of an intense romance building between Zara and Kabir, the new episodes will also reveal a new dimension to Zara and her true agendas.
