First Medical college to develop self Hosted online interactieve Teaching Portal

In view of the adverse period of lockdown due to corona pandemic, all the medical colleges of the country owe a dual responsibility of managing the
patients as well as teaching the students.

Many colleges are using Zoom, google meet, webex, Microsoft team, etc for teaching purpose. However they have the problem of restriction of the time and number of students as well as the fear of data security.

To resolve this problem, Mr. Suresh Singh Bhadoriya, Chairman of Index
Group of Institute, Indore, initiated a process of developing a self hosted
portal.

Project in-charge Dr. Prem Nyati & Dr. Rahul Tanwani informed the running of regular classes of all the professionals of 700 students in an interesting and effective manner with this self hosted portal ‘My Index’

This portal has all the required features such as slide presentation, screen
sharing, white board, video uploading, webcam, live polling, single click
attendance and lecture recording. This portal has been developed by Dr. Rahul Tagarya of Isara Technologies.

lt is also interesting to note that for this portal students as well as teachers
don’t need to install any app. Also it does not use any foreign server so it is
a made in India as well as safe for India. Online safety is comparable to
that of banking standards.

Vice-Chancellor of Malwanchal University Dr. N. K. Tripathi and Dean of
Index Medical College, Indore, Dr. S. M. Holkar informed the successful
conduction of online interactive classes through a systematic, pre-planned, this ‘My index portal’. uniform teaching schedule on this ‘My portal.
