Trans-woman contestant Honey Singh’s inspiring story promises to leave you with goosebumps!
Mumbai :- Let go of your weekday blues because Sony Entertainment Television’s dance reality show, India’s Best Dancer – Season 2 is here to brighten your weekend! The upcoming episode will be super special as, Honey Singh, a 22 year old trans-woman from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh will be seen setting the stage on fire with her iconic and sharp dance moves. Apart from this, Honey will also be seen talking about her extra-ordinarily inspiring life journey.
Her performance on the song, ‘Man Mohini’ left the judges amazed! Terence Lewis felt that her moves were strong, sharp with controlled body vibrations and, overall, it was an effortless act. Post the performance, Honey Singh narrated her soul-stirring life story with tears in her eyes. She said, “I am a trans woman and I am proud of myself. I don’t care what the society thinks of me. It’s me and my family against the world. People rejected me, but I accepted myself.” After this, the judges to took it upon themselves to applaud Honey’s parents for being so supportive of her choices. They told Honey that she is extremely blessed to have such parents because if one has their family’s support, they can overcome all the hurdles in life with a much greater ease.
After receiving such heartwarming feedback from the judges, Honey Singh shares, “For me, dance is everything. I live for it, I can die for it. India’s Best Dancer is a platform where my talent will speak and not my gender.
