For actors it’s challenging to step out of their comfort zone: Aayushree Sangle

Aayushree Sangle, who is seen as Purvi Mittal in Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah’s Studio LSD’s Suman Indori on Colors, says her character in the show is much like Poo from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and that her fashion sense is always on point.

She said, “She is very classy, just like Poo from K3G. She is very stylish and says what she has to. She loves and supports Devika bhabhi, she’s on her side always & thinks whatever she does is right. We can say she’s blunt, but she is afraid of her father. She hates people from the lower class and is the reason why she doesn’t like Suman. She finds her irritating and hates when she is around. ”

“We will see more of how the tables turn ahead. When it comes to fashion, Purvi and Aayushree are very similar. I love dressing up and styling myself, and so does Purvi. We have been styling her keeping Poo as the inspiration, and I’m loving that part,” she added.

She said that though her character is not negative, she turns negative when it comes to the lead character, Suman. “Purvi just hates Suman. And for actors, it’s challenging to step out of their comfort zone because there is always a fear of how the audience is going to react. Successfully tackling new and challenging roles can lead to greater versatility and range as an actor,” she said.

Aayushree also mentioned that her favorite moment on the set was when the cast made a reel and it got over 8 million views. “We were all practicing the dance all day long, trying to teach everyone. We made this in between shots, a few takes without music. Zain bhaiya waited over 2 hours post-packup to complete the reel. It is definitely one of my most favorite memories; it had all of us dancing,” she said. She also spoke about her experience working with Studio LSD and said, “It is very good as of now. I have been loving the environment on set working with everyone, be it actors, director Yusuf sir, and Prateek sir. Everyone is very helpful, cooperative, and fun to work with. This is my first time working with LSD Productions, and I’m very happy to work with such an amazing team.”
