Arunim Mishra opens up on being part of Suman Indori
Actor Arunim Mishra, who plays the role of Rishi in Suman Indori produced by Prateek Sharma and Parth Shah (Studio LSD), says that his character has been evolving. The actor adds that he has learnt a lot from the show.
“Rishi has evolved from being a naive and innocent boy to a responsible man, in his early manhood after going through the turmoil with Suman and family. Seeing Suman handling the toughest situation with dignity and integrity has shaped him,” he says.
Talking about the feedback that he has got so far, he says, “I have been receiving nothing else but just love and praise from the audience about the show and my character. They all relate to the show and its aliveness. I am happily surprised about the fact that this show has become so close and personal to many of the fans binge watching it.”
Working with Prateek Sharma has been a dream come true, he says, “This production house is an actor’s delight, like I have always said that the love and respect is mutual, which evidently reflects on screen with their contents,” he says.
The actor says that the storyline of his show reflects current societal issues. “It is crucially important, especially for women, to see how Suman is being portrayed and the kind of stand she takes for herself and her family. This shows how strong Indian women can be in any given situation. Kudos to the makers of the show and Ashnoor for playing it so effortlessly,” he says.
Meanwhile, he says that OTT has helped in getting better content everywhere. “The rise of OTT has brought about a situation where the viewers have the option to change a show or a movie. If they don’t like it, the variety has given them so many options to make a choice if the content is worth watching or not, so that has moved us to creating better content,” he says.
He adds, “I want an industry, where we have a perfect balance of art and commerce. This will enable us to have content to reach wider audiences because as an industry we are very capable of delivering something which has a message. This type of content adds meaning to one’s life as an audience and an actor too.”
