Karan Vohra inspired by actor Amitabh Bachchan for his role
Actor Karan Vohra who plays the character of Dr. Veer Sahay on StarPlus’ Krishna Chali London has been turning heads with his strong screen presence and captivating performance on screen.
Dr. Veer is a grey character who has had a tragic past and has shaped him into what he is today. Little did we know that the actor drew inspiration from the veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan for his role.
Karan revealed, “Amitabh Bachchan is someone that I look up to as an actor. He is someone who has created a niche for himself right through the 80s, 90s and manages to appeal audiences even today.
My character on Krishna Chali London is that of a doctor who is angry and strong headed due to some past circumstances. So when I was approached for Veer’s character, I could think of none other than the Mr. Bachchan himself.
His image as an angry young man is a favourite with audiences even today. While preparing for my character, I studied his body language, attitude and his dialogue delivery to be able to do complete justice to my character. I really hope viewers enjoy watching my performance on screen.”
With Dr. Veer now returning back to India, the upcoming episodes will witness a lot of unexpected twists in the life of Krishna. Viewers are in for a riveting watch as the show progresses.
