Krishna Shroff discusses time management as an entrepreneur, calls MMA athletes ‘superhumans’
Krishna Shroff shares insights on family support, fitness, entrepreneurship, and overcoming challenges
Entrepreneur and fitness icon Krishna Shroff was recently a part of a panel discussion at an event that celebrated women achievers from various fields. Krishna, known for her passion for fitness, spoke candidly about the key influences in her life and the lessons that guided her in her journey so far. The entrepreneur, whose fearless attitude and mental strength made waves during her ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’ stint, said that her family plays a pivotal role as her support system. “My mother taught me to be kind; she is the most positive person I have ever come across,” she added.
Delving into her personal fitness journey, Krishna revealed that it evolved naturally. “Fitness just came to me automatically; it wasn’t planned,” she shared, emphasizing the vital importance of health in achieving any goal. She views fitness not just as physical but also mental and emotional strength. The entrepreneur, who revived MMA in India via Matrix Fight Night, shared that she “greatly respects” the athletes “for their mental strength”. “They are superhumans in their own right,” she expressed.
Krishna also spoke about the importance of time management in entrepreneurship and the challenges she faced, both physical and emotional, and how she remains committed to her goals. “There are days when I feel lazy; we as women have our monthly cycle. But my motivation to push through that feeling is why I started,” she said, showing how determination drives her forward, even on difficult days. Krishna’s journey is a powerful reminder that with passion and determination, obstacles can be overcome. Her presence at ‘The We Women Want Festival’ was a celebration of women’s empowerment, showcasing her strength and resilience.
She is currently focussing on expanding the gym chain MMA Matrix Gym, which after a great response in Mumbai is looking at expanding across India in cities such as Pune, Pathankot, Lucknow, Solapur and Kolkata.
