Tulsi Kumar shows her versatility with a Ghadwali folk song

Tulsi Kumar, who has consistently wowed and surprised her fans and listeners by rendering songs in different genres of music, has released a new song titled ‘Ta Chuma’.

The song which is a Ghadwali folk song has been sung by Tulsi Kumar and Jubin Nautiyal. It has been composed by Aditya Dev and rewritten by Kunal Verma. The song is a famous Ghadwali song composed and penned originally by Narendra Singh Negi.

The song is a part of the music series by T-Series called ‘Electro-Folk’ with the song featuring in the second episode of this series.

Says Tulsi, “I feel extremely proud to be a part of this series. Folk music takes us back to the roots of our culture. With Ta Chuma, which is a Ghadwali folk song I feel that there will be a strong connect which people will experience and they will feel closer to folk music. I feel this is a great platform to showcase Folk music and bring it back to a larger audience.”

Tulsi who is known for her rendition of chartbuster songs such as ‘Soch Na Sake’, ‘Tum Jo Aaye’, ‘Paniyon Sa’, ‘Tere Jaisa’ and many more in her decade-long singing career also marks her collaboration with singer Jubin Nautiyal for the first time with her new song ‘Ta Chuma’.
