&TV Artists from MP – Shubhangi Atre, Kamna Pathak and Sara Khan marvel over Madhya Pradesh on National Tourism Day
On National Tourism Day, &TV artists, Angoori Bhabi (Shubhangi Atre) from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, Rajesh (Kamna Pathak) from Happu Ki Ultan Paltan and Asur Rani Paulomi (Sara Khan) from Santoshi Maa Sunaye Vrat Kathayein recall their hometowns and best tourist spots. The occasion marks the celebration and acknowledgement to India’s numerous cities with its cultural diversity and impeccable hospitality.
Sara Khan recalls Bhopal from her childhood days, “Bhopal holds an exceptional place in my heart. The flora, fauna and its aura take my breath away. The city holds some of the very exquisite and indigenous animals and monuments that are worth checking out. I am born and bred in the city; I have seen it grow into a wonderfully established place from a small town. I take pride in the fact that it is my native and urge the residents to look after the place and ensure that the heritage is maintained. Apart from Bhopal being my hometown, it is also a hot tourist spot, catering to its rich history. The Sanchi-Stupa stands tall as one of Bhopal’s notable locations.”
Shubhangi Atre shares her favourite food trail from Indore, “Not a lot of people are aware of this, but I am a big foodie at heart. Whenever I visit a new place in Indore, I try out everything that the local cuisine offers and much more. The cuisine is a highlight for me, from their classic and world-famous poha to their staple food dahi vada brings water to my mouth! Not only do they know how to whip up a dish in no time, but the hospitality the place has to offer is heart-warming. The people welcome you with open arms, making it a rather homely experience for a tourist.”
Also sharing her love for Indore on Tourism Day is Kamna Pathak, “Indore is lush in its architecture and monuments. In Indore, you must grab the breakfast special because there is no other place that permits you to have unlimited jalebis in the morning! I love to stroll through the Sarafa Bazaar and shop its art and craftworks.
While Indore is true to its roots, it is one of the fastest upcoming cities of India. Known for its cleanliness, the city and its government have made Indore a prime location for its residents and the nomadic visitors.” Madhya Pradesh is a beautiful state that embraces the pristine beauty of nature, a wide range of flora and fauna gives tourists an array of beautiful places to visit.
