Experience has been my only teacher: Aparna Dixit of Pyar Ki Luka Chuppi
Mumbai. Life is nothing but a series of learning opportunities and experiences. Many aspiring actors dream of having a successful career. With time, dedication, passion and patience, the vision can eventually become a reality. But, one secret ingredient to excel and grow as an actor is experience.
Aparna Dixit who started her career at a young age considers experience as her only teacher in this industry.
Describing her journey from the time she made her debut to Pyar Ki Luka Chuppi which airs on Dangal channel, Aparna Dixit says, “My journey has been beautiful. Whatever I have learnt from my ups and downs has crafted my journey. I still remember, during my initial days I would not understand the camera angles, profiles etc.
The knowledge I have gained today is all from my experience. I never joined any acting school. Experience has been my only teacher. Learnings from one show wereimplemented in another and so on. I learnt a lot from all the senior actors that I shared the screen with and stayed grounded.
There were times when I would become nervous to shoot some tough scenes, but today, when I see the difference in my graph, I have realized that those moments have made me who I am. There are times now also, when I feel nervous, but then I would want that to stay with me.
I would never want to become over-confident. I want to keep learning and growing. I believe I am an actor because I love my work the most and this reason drives me to achieve more. I feel grateful to be a part of this industry that has blessed me in ways I can’t be thankful enough.”
She believes every actor has a different journey and one really can’t compare one with another.
