Aye Mere Humsafar’s Achherr Bhaardwaaj saves the day
October. Born and brought up in Chandigarh, Achherr Bhaardwaj who is seen as Lakhan Kothari in Dangal TVs’ Aye Mere Humsafar often spends his time farming when he is in his hometown.
One of the toughest parts about farming is driving a tractor.
A few days ago, there was a tractor stuck just outside the gate of the Aye Mere Humsafar set for over 4 to 5 hours. Many people tried extending a helping hand but no success. When Achherr heard about it he was confident about being able to help. He sat in the driver’s seat and helped in getting tractor back on the road as it was stuck.
On being able to help out here, Achherr said, “Driving a tractor is a very difficult task. The vehicle is very different and really can’t be compared to any normal vehicle. It also requires a lot of strength. Since I grew up in Chandigarh, and my family has fields out there, I very often used to help them with farm work and driving a tractor was my favourite since it was a challenge that not everyone could take up.
When I heard about this tractor being stuck outside the Aye Mere Humsafar gate that also blocked traffic and movement for such a long time, I knew I could help. It was also a déjà vu moment for me. Even today, I ensure I spend time on the farm whenever I visit my home. I believe it is something that everyone should do at least once in their life time.”
Achherr Bhaardwaj is currently seen as Lakhan Kothari, the brother of Ved Kothari and son of Pratibha Devi in Dangal TV’s Aye Mere Humsafar.
