Actor Kapil Jhaveri receives Times Leading Icons award 2021 from Chief Minister’s Wife!
Actor, Kapil Jhaveri who shared screen space as an protagonist along with super star Salman Khan in Bollywood film, ‘Saawan… The Love Season’ and later acted in films like, ‘Ishq Vishk’, ‘Dil Pardesi Ho Gaya’, ‘Aatma’ receives Times Leading Icons Award 2021 from Amruta Fadnavis for his Dil Se Bharat Foundation for his contribution towards orphaned children.
Kapil Jhaveri who got a lot of fame after ‘Ishq Vishk’ and ‘Dil Pardesi Ho Gaya’ enjoyed the love, but somewhere felt something was missing and this wasn’t what he was passionate about. The actor now made an NGO and its one of the initiatives is to bring happiness and joy on the faces of underprivileged children.
He wishes to bring smiles to the children from the underprivileged strata of the society by providing meals to over 2000 children and has been frequently giving free rides over the city of Mumbai with an aerial view of Mumbai Darshan, which the children love immensely.
Talking about the same, Kapil stated “It’s such an honor to receive this award. I would like to thank Times for this recognition. It pushes one to keep working hard. I promise to keep doing this great work. Last but not the least I would urge the audience to keep sending me there love because that”s all that matters,” said the elated actor!
Talking about his comeback, Kapil says, “I believe destiny has already sought a path for everyone. Acting is an art inside me, which I always respect. And if situations bring back me to showbiz, I’ll respect that too, but as of now no such plans on the anvil.”
