Tamannaah Bhatia was the first actress to deliver a 1000-crore film and she did that with SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Baahubali 2. The film was released in 2017 and went on to become the talk of town for several reasons. The film minted Rs.1,737 – Rs.1,810 crores at the global box office.

The film, which was made on a budget of Rs. 250 crores at the time of its release, went on to collect 1000 cr. in just a matter of days. Also starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty, Baahubali made Tamannaah an overnight phenomenon among the industry peers as well as the audience.

Baahubali 2 led the way for other magnum opuses such as Jawan, Pathaan and KGF 2 among others which also garnered the same response and entered the prestigious 1000 crore club.

The film paved the way for Tamannaah in the Hindi film industry who went on to be a part of content-rich movies and projects. The actress, who started her career in 2005, was later seen in several films and was highly appreciated for Lust Stories 2, Plan A Plan B, Babli Bouncer, Aakhri Sach, Jee Karda and many more.

Currently, Tamannaah Bhatia has a lineup of interesting projects coming up her way. She will be seen in Vedaa alongside John Abraham and also in a Tamil project titled Arnamanai 4.
