It’s his warm heart and character that truly make him the King of Bollywood: Shiwani Chakraborty on SRK
Maati Se Bandhi Dor actress Shiwani Chakraborty says she has been a fan of SRK since childhood. Sharing her thoughts on the superstar’s birthday, which is celebrated on November 2, she said, “Shah Rukh Khan is pure love and one of the biggest names in Bollywood. Whether it’s kids or older folks, everyone loves Shah Rukh Khan—and it’s his warm heart and character that truly make him the King of Bollywood.”
“My love for Shah Rukh goes back to my childhood. I grew up watching him and witnessing his journey. I remember watching his shows Circus and Fauji on DD, and my father used to say he knew Shah Rukh would make it big in Bollywood. I could watch his movies endlessly—Devdas and Dil To Pagal Hai are two I can watch on repeat,” she added.
Shiwani also mentioned that Shah Rukh is a global icon and said, “He has earned so many honors worldwide, and he deserves every bit of it for all he’s given to Indian cinema.” And she is in love with his witty comebacks. “His graceful handling of tough situations and his intelligence are something I admire. His one-liners are unforgettable. One of my favorites is when he said that hard work and stability will take you far—I truly believe in that, and it’s a huge lesson for actors like us. I also believe in his famous line, ‘Agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho, to puri kainaat usse tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai’.” Wishing him the very best on his birthday, she said, “Age is just a number for him. He was a hero, he is a hero, and he always will be a hero.”
