Reports are rife that Ankita Lokhande has been approached to play a pivotal role in Karan Johar’s ‘Student Of The Year 3’, which is slated to be a web series. Several reports that are making rounds on the internet also suggest that the actress has declined the offer. However, sources close to the actress have stated that the reports are fake and the actress was never a part of it.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ankita was seen playing the role of ‘Yamunabai’ in the Randeep Hooda directorial ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’. The actress delivered a power-packed performance in the historic drama and received immense appreciation for the character portrayal. Post the success of the film, she collaborated for the first time with her husband Vicky Jain for the song ‘Laa Pila De Sharaab’.

Currently, Ankita is on a roll as she is preparing to play the role of a royal courtesan in Sandeep Singh’s magnum opus series ‘Amrapali’.
