Sachin Kumbhar Shares How Overwhelming It was to Host and Witness Sania Mirza’s Farewell Exhibition Match
Indian tennis icon Sania Mirza concluded her illustrious tennis career where it all began, at Hyderabad’s Lal Bahadur Stadium, after playing several exhibition matches on Sunday, March 5th. This grand event, attended by tons of entertainment and sports celebrities was hosted by none other than Sachin Kumbhar! The anchor shares his experience of being an integral part of India’s most loved tennis player’s final match.
He recalls what a moving and goosebump inducing day it was as the entire country witness a legend playing her last game. He says,”Over nearly two decades on the tennis circuit, Mirza not only revolutionized tennis in India but also inspired countless young girls throughout the country so the exhibition match was truly an emotional moment as all bid goodbye to one of the most loved personalities in our country. I feel really privileged and honored to have been a part of this historic and special moment.”
