Reaction on inauguration of Integrated Ombudsman Scheme – Mr. Prabhat Chaturvedi, CEO, Netafim Agricultural Financing Agency (NAFA)

“The rural population has limited access to grievance reporting and often has raised the concern towards delayed resolution. The technology-enabled ombudsman system is need of the hour in today’s digital world to reduce the difficulties of these customers. The inauguration of the Integrated ombudsman scheme by the honourable prime minister would play a key role in protecting the rights of these customers and resolving disputes. The RBI’s decision to integrate various ombudsmen into one platform will take away the confusion of the common man for their grievance redressal, especially with any and all forms of digital transactions. This will help in improving the overall customer experience.”
