‘Tilak Varma is going to play for team India in all three formats,’ claims actor Ranveer Singh

Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh is pleased to see the youngsters perform so well in the TATA IPL and also said that Tilak Varma, Ayush Badoni and Umran Malik are his favourite players in the most exciting IPL season.

The actor – who is a passionate cricket enthusiast – in an exclusive conversation with Star Sports, claimed these three talented youngsters have proven their merit on the big stage and will be playing for Team India soon.

Ranveer, who graced Cricket Live on Star Sports as a guest commentator, captivated everyone with his expert commentary and also shared his views on IPL greats like Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, Hardik Pandya and also on young talents like Tilak Verma and Umran Malik. He even predicted that Tilak Varma is going to play for team India across all three formats.

Speaking on Cricket Live on Star Sports, Ranveer said, “Tilak Verma, Umran Malik and Aayush Badoni have big future prospects. It is exciting to see them play. I think all these players are the future of Indian cricket. Especially Tilak, he has played several good and mature innings for Mumbai Indians in the most difficult situations. I am seeing him play for team India in all three formats very soon.”

During the show, Ranveer also shared his views on the most exciting IPL season and claimed that the thrill of IPL is limitless. Ranveer said on Cricket Live show, “The thrill of TATA IPL is that you not only feel the ebbs and flows during the match, but you also get lost in the immense joy.”

Ranveer also had a word of praise for RCB captain Faf du Plessis for leading his team from the front. Du Plessis is playing some attractive knocks in the tournament.

Speaking on Cricket Live on Star Sports, Ranveer, “Du Plessis is one of the most exciting batsmen in the world. It is a pleasure to watch him play. When he opens the mouth of his bat it is poetry in motion.”
