Zindagi DTH celebrates Diwali: Heartwarming Stories of Love and Togetherness Await
Diwali is right around the corner and the excitement in the air is palpable, with families uniting to celebrate this cherished festival of lights and new beginnings. Zindagi’s DTH embraces this vibrant spirit by fostering these celebrations through its exciting lineup of cross border content curated specially with audience’s favorite shows to usher in the festive season with flair.
Zindagi’s DTH serves as the platform delivering captivating storytelling, presenting a variety of stories that appeal to audiences beyond India and Pakistan. Now, as we celebrate Diwali, Zindagi focuses on universal themes of love, family, and togetherness, inviting everyone to enjoy heartfelt stories that resonate with our shared values.
At the heart of Zindagi’s offerings towards the end of October is the much-anticipated return of Suno Chanda 2, a beloved family drama that spreads joy and laughter, alongside Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha, a romantic tale that combines emotional depth with lighthearted moments, both airing from 29th October.
Expressing her excitement for festivals, celebrations, and entertainment, Suno Chanda star who also featured in Jhoothi that aired in October on Zindagi’s platform as well, Iqra Aziz, said, “I still pinch myself when I think about playing Nirma in Jhooti. It was a role that spoke directly to my soul—complex, multifaceted, and unapologetically flawed. As I delved deeper into her story, I found pieces of myself in her struggles, her ambitions, and her resilience. Sharing the screen with my husband, Yasir Hussain, made the experience even more special. His passion and dedication inspired me to give my best. When Jhooti premiered in Pakistan in 2020, the outpouring of love from our audience was overwhelming. Now, I’m thrilled that Zindagi DTH has brought it back for the Indian audiences. I eagerly await their response and can’t wait to hear how Nirma’s story resonates with them. Another role very close to my heart is Ajiya from Suno Chanda, season 2 which is also set to air on the platform this month. I am excited for audiences to watch it with their family and friends during the festive season.”
Zaviyar Nauman Ijaz, starring in the popular drama series Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha, a unique story of love, trust and betrayal shared, “The festive season is my favorite time of the year as I get to celebrate with my loved ones and create wonderful memories. I believe that every celebration is incomplete without the perfect blend of entertainment, and what better way to indulge than with a heartwarming family drama. One such show that I cherish watching with my family is Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha, where I play the role of Areeb, a rebellious and stubborn individual caught in a conflict with his mother over the girl he loves but his mother doesn’t due to the girl’s social status. The show delves into themes of love, trust, and betrayal, beautifully capturing the emotions of joy and celebration through its characters and story. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of this show, and I am excited for Indian audiences to experience Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha on Zindagi DTH as they prepare to embrace the festival of lights and happiness.”
Additionally, the ongoing shows Mere Pass Tum Ho and Humsafar continue to engage viewers with their captivating stories and rich emotional arcs. Together, these shows create the perfect backdrop for festive binge-watching, encouraging audiences to embrace the spirit of Diwali through love, laughter, and connection with their loved ones. Celebrate the festival of lights with stories that illuminate the bonds that we share.
As we reflect on the festivities of Diwali, Zindagi DTH invites us to continue celebrating the connections that bind us together. Through its engaging programming, it reminds us of the joy found in shared stories and experiences, making this festive season all the more memorable.
