Dangal TV actors share best lessons learnt from COVID-19 pandemic this Teacher’s Day
Mumbai. Every year 5th September is celebrated as Teacher’s Day. This day is celebrated to show gratitude towards the one who teaches us to be the better version of ourselves.
A person is oblivious without a mentor. It is a well-known fact that a situation can offer some important life lessons, so this year, actors of Dangal TV share what pandemic as a teacher taught them.
Tina Philip aka Vidhi Sharma of Aye Mere Humsafar
The pandemic has taught me to value the simple things in life like good food. Also, to be grateful for good health and a roof over my head. A lot of people left Mumbai because of soaring rents, but I am grateful that I have got the opportunity to work during this time of crisis. I feel so blessed. This year, I think the pandemic has been everyone’s teacher and has taught some life lessons to all.
Namish Taneja aka Ved Kothari of Aye Mere Humsafar
I felt the life we live these days is too fast paced and the pandemic brought everything to a stand still. We were too engrossed in our daily life that we generally neglected life as a whole and always play catch up on tasks. This phase taught me to be patient. The lockdown taught me to live life to the fullest in the present and not take anything for granted- Life is unpredictable. It taught me to live in the present. It taught me not to mess my present to try to sort my future. And lastly to live life with happiness.
Pooja Singh aka Divya Kothari of Aye Mere Humsafar
I am a very fun-loving person and generally like being around people and I was very emotionally dependent on people before the lockdown. The lockdown has taught me to be more self-reliant. I took care of my house and my pet single handed which also increased my confidence.
Sneha Wagh aka Jyoti of Jyoti
The Corona virus has been very harsh on all human kind. We also realised how this situation has put everything on a stand still and how things for everyone have come to a point zero. While this is a difficult situation for many and for many it might seem like a roadblock, the pandemic has taught me to talk, treat and behave with everyone with more humbleness & kindness. I make sure I am more gentle with people because we never know what they are going through. Empathy for once is more important!
Rahul Sharma aka Sarthak of Pyar Ki Luka Chuppi
Lockdown taught me a lot of things. It taught me to be patient and mentally strong. I learned how important it is to know my own self and spend time not only with others but also myself. Due to this I got answers to many questions as to why we do many things in life. It is said that attaining self-knowledge is like attaining the whole world. So, I went to achieve enlightenment and started learning about myself. With respect to creativity, I opened my YouTube channel and showcased my poems and stories there.
Vaishnavi MacDonald aka Surajmukhi of Aye Mere Humsafar
All these years I lost out on family life due to always being busy. But in this lockdown, I got a lot of time to bond with my family and connect with fans on a more personal level. My heart is filled with gratitude. For each day now I thank the God almighty for giving me one more day to live and He kept us also safe and healthy. I have realised health is so important. It truly is your real wealth. Nothing else mattered in this lockdown. Neither fame nor celeb status, nor money. Everything seemed a failure before life and health to live it.
As the saying goes “If you were successful somebody along the line gave you some help and there was always a great teacher somewhere in your life” and we cannot agree more to this.
