Konkona Sen Sharma Starrer Blind Spot (Chashma) Makes Waves at MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2024
Mumbai, 23rd October 2024: In a landmark feat, Gubbara Entertainment’s much anticipated short film, Blind Spot (Chashma), stole the spotlight at the prestigious MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2024 with the special premiere under the Focus South Asia section on October 22nd, 2024. Directed by Nitin Baid (Editor, Gully Boy and Masaan) and written by Varun Grover, the short film stars the versatile Konkona Sen Sharma and Ayan Khan as Supriyo in the lead. The talented cast also features Kabeer Shah, Shafeen Patel, Shishir Sharma, and Vijay Shrivastava. The premiere was attended by Nitin Baid and the team of Blind Spot (Chashma).
The MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2024 features over 110 films across various genres and languages. With limited screenings at Regal Cinema in Colaba and PVR in Juhu, the festival continues its tradition of spotlighting independent filmmakers from South Asia. The Focus South Asia section, played in package 2, showcases 11 films, with Blind Spot (Chashma) among the standout entries from India.
