Anjana Sukhani Opens Up About Being a Part of Imtiaz Ali’s Main Vaapas Aaunga: I am just eternally thankful

Imtiaz Ali’s Main Vaapas Aaunga is one of the most anticipated romantic dramas coming up in recent times. In addition to Vedang Raina, Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah and Sharvari, the film also stars Anjana Sukhani in a pivotal role. During the recently held trailer launch event, the actress opened up about being cast in Main Vaapas Aaunga and thanked the filmmaker for seeing the character, Meher, in her.

“It’s been a complete honour and a privilege to be associated with all these names. Special thanks to Mukesh for casting me in this film; he thought that I could pull this off. Thank you to Imtiaz for seeing me as Meher. I am just eternally thankful,” shared Anjana Sukhani.

In Imtiaz Ali’s world, love is never a fleeting feeling. It is a journey in stolen glances, unfinished conversations and memories that stay. And with Main Vaapas Aaunga, Imtiaz Ali is keen on taking the audience on the same journey. The film also marks the reunion of Imtiaz Ali, AR Rahman and Irshad Kamil, who previously collaborated on Amar Singh Chamkila, Tamasha and Rockstar.

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, Main Vaapas Aaunga is all set to hit the theatres on June 12.
