BhumikaGurung and Kanchan Gupta join hands for Star Bharats’ Savdhaan India ‘Aapka Sangharsh Aapki Zubaani’

Star Bharat’s most popular show Savdhaan India is all set to launch its’ new concept ‘AapkaSangharshAapkiZubaani’. The show will witness a change in its approach as it will soon start featuring stories about atrocities against women and how they won justice.

The new concept is all about all about real people who have fought back against the adversity and come out of it stronger with a stronger theme like where real life stories of victims will be portrayed.

The makers have roped in BhumikaGurung who will be seen essaying the role of one of the victims. She has won audiences hearts with her brilliant performance as NimkiMukhiya and the show garnered maximum eyeballs with the gripping storyline and an epic finale making her Vidhayak.

The actress has always been outspoken about various issues through her social media platform thus making her a perfect fit to be a part of an interesting story on the show. Along with her Kanchan Gupta who has received many accolades in her previous performances will also be seen returning back on screen after a brief hiatus. She will be seen essaying the character of Bhumika’s mother in law in the show.

BhumikaGurung speaks up about being a part of Star Bharat’s  ‘Savdhaan India AapkaSangharsh, AapkiZubaani’,“Savdhaan India as a show has always kept the audience aware about the many crimes happening throughout the country and has educated the masses on these stories. The upcoming initiative of the show ‘AapkaSangharshAapkiZubaani’ revolves around the true stories of victims. The show will take us through the real life journey of the survivors of various crimes and how they fought back.”

She further added,“My character in the show is of a girl who had a normal life and how an unfortunate event changes ger life completely. I felt very emotionally devastated while shooting for this character and I hope the audience will see it too. I just can’t think of something like this happening to me or anyone I know. I would just like to give a message to all the women out there to fight back. No matter what, one should always fight for what’s right.”

When spoken to Kanchan Gupta she said“I will be seen essaying the role of Bhumika’s mother in law who is very supportive of her choices and unfortunate situation. She always stands by her through thick and thin. While shooting this track I realized that there are so many young girls out there married at a young age who needs their mother in law to stand alongside them.

I was very emotional shooting the track and I thank ‘Savdhaan India AapkaSangharsh, AapkiZubaani’ to take up this stride in creating awareness amongst people. I would urge all the women and each and every citizen to stand up for themselves and fight back for injustice”
