Jackie Shroff’s Humility Wins Hearts as the Actor Sits with the Masses at the Back Row at the RSS 100-Year Celebration Event
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) clocked 100 years in 2025. To celebrate the massive feat, a grand and dignified two-day event was held at a grand auditorium in Mumbai on February 7 and 8, bringing together several renowned personalities from various fields, industrialists, and the Bollywood fraternity. But the actor who stood out for his humble nature at the event was Jackie Shroff.
Like all times, the actors were all seated at the front rows, but Apna Bhidu turned out to be an exception. At times when stars usually fight for front rows, Jackie Shroff quietly took a seat at the back row, surprising the attendees of the event. Then, the organizers gracefully escorted him to the front row, as it was done for other prominent faces. However, Jackie Shroff was clear that he did not want any VIP-style treatment as he wished to sit with the masses.
This quality of being one with the citizens is exactly what makes him a man of the masses in its truest sense. Speaking the language of a common man and popularising the word ‘Bhidu’ has made him relatable for people across generations, especially Gen-Z. With his kind gesture at the RSS event, the actor made a powerful statement that despite the success and stardom, it’s humility and a kind heart that’ll always bring you closer to the public.
In addition to Jackie Shroff, the event was also graced by Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Vicky Kaushal, Ananya Panday, Om Raut, Amar Kaushik, Boney Kapoor, Ramesh Taurani and several others.
