INDORE 05.08.2026 | Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore, celebrated its 17th Foundation Day with great enthusiasm, marking another milestone in its journey of academic excellence, leadership, and nation-building. The occasion was commemorated with the prestigious Seth M.R. Jaipuria Memorial Lecture Series, a tribute to the visionary legacy of Late Seth M.R. Jaipuria, whose values continue to inspire generations of leaders and entrepreneurs.
The Memorial Lecture Series is designed to foster meaningful dialogue on leadership, management, innovation, and nation-building by bringing together eminent professionals and thought leaders from diverse fields.
The celebration commenced with the address of Director- Dr. Deepankar chakrabarti who emphasized on responsible leadership, importance of innovation the relevance of industry- academia collaboration and the benefits of embracing global perspectives to meaningfully contribute to society.
The event featured two distinguished speakers whose journeys exemplify excellence, leadership, and lifelong learning.
Ms. Loly Vadassery, Chief Human Resources Officer at Datamatics Business Solutions Ltd., delivered an inspiring address on leadership, organizational culture, and the evolving role of human resources in shaping future-ready organizations. With nearly 25 years of experience in strategic HR, culture transformation, organizational development, performance management, and leadership coaching, Ms. Vadassery shared valuable insights on creating people-centric workplaces and nurturing leadership excellence. She highlighted the importance of resilience, adaptability, and ethical leadership in today’s dynamic business environment.
A highly accomplished HR leader, Ms. Vadassery is a Certified Independent Director, an ICF-certified PCC Coach, and an NLP Practitioner. Her remarkable contributions have earned her several prestigious recognitions, including being named among the Top 30 Talent Leaders of 2025 by Forbes and Indeed, India’s Greatest CHRO 2023–24, and Most Admired Women Leader in 2025 and 2026.
The event also featured Ms. Bhargavi Thakur, a distinguished mixed-methods researcher and Hindustani Classical Vocalist. Trained in both Khayal and Dhrupad, Bhargavi has been performing since early childhood and has showcased her artistry at renowned cultural platforms, including Jashn-e-Urdu and Jashn-e-Rekhta. She has also presented curated performances exploring themes of transgressive love in South Asian arts across New York, Chicago, and Washington, D.C., and introduced Indian classical music to wider audiences through performances with the Chicago-based Bollywood punk-rock band “Do The Needful.”
Through her lecture and musical insights, Bhargavi emphasized the role of art, culture, and interdisciplinary thinking in developing creativity, empathy, and leadership—qualities essential for future managers and changemakers.
The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members, students, and distinguished guests. The Foundation Day served as a reflection on the institute’s achievements over the past 17 years while reaffirming its commitment to nurturing socially responsible, innovative, and ethical leaders.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Rekha Attri, celebrating the enduring legacy of Late Seth M.R. Jaipuria and reiterating the institute’s mission of providing quality management education while contributing meaningfully to society and the nation.
