Premala Conditions Apply – Review
With long-format storytelling becoming increasingly popular on OTT, Premala Conditions Apply takes a refreshing route by blending workplace drama with a light-hearted romantic narrative. Instead of relying on high-voltage twists, the series builds its world through relatable office politics, evolving friendships, and the emotional conflict between personal happiness and professional commitments. The “No Dating” policy serves as an effective catalyst, giving the story a strong central hook.
Siddharth Menon and Janhavi Uday carry the show with effortless charm. Their chemistry feels genuine, making Rishi and Ananya easy to root for, while the supporting cast adds authenticity to the corporate environment. The writing keeps the tone youthful, and the production design complements the modern setting, making the series visually appealing without feeling over-stylised.
Being a 50-episode series, the initial episodes focus more on setting up the characters and their world than delivering major payoffs. While a few moments could have been tighter, the show lays enough groundwork to make viewers curious about where the story is headed.
With *five new episodes dropping every Wednesday, *Premala Conditions Apply has the opportunity to gradually build its emotional stakes and character arcs over time. If it continues to balance romance, workplace conflicts, and character growth well, it could become an engaging weekly watch. The real test now is whether the series can maintain its momentum across its long-format run.
