It’s been five years since Raj Kundra has been awaiting justice over the ongoing legal proceedings related to the pornography case. This time, the actor-businessman took to his social media handle to express exhaustion over the delayed justice. Kundra stated that every time his case reaches the stage of final hearing or a reserved order, the judge is transferred or promoted, resetting the matter all over again.

“Five years. Still waiting for justice. Every time my case reaches the stage of a final hearing or a reserved order, the judge is transferred or promoted, and the matter starts all over again before a new Judge. The process resets. The costs keep rising. Time keeps passing,” he wrote on his X handle and Instagram.

Raj Kundra expressed humility towards the ordinary citizens who go through such struggles without the resources to keep fighting. “If this is exhausting for me, imagine what countless ordinary citizens go through without the resources to keep fighting. Justice delayed isn’t just a legal issue it becomes a human one,” he continued.

Despite the situation, Raj Kundra’s belief in the Indian legal system is rock solid. He states that he still has faith in the rule of law, but points out that the system must find a way to ensure that the years of hearing and proceedings don’t reset everytime a judicial transfer takes place. “Justice shouldn’t depend on how many times you’re forced to start over. #Sabr #waheguru” he concludes.

Earlier, he had announced a conclusion to arguments related to his pornography case, led by his advocate Prashant Patil.

In 2021, Raj Kundra was accused by the authorities for distributing pornographic content through mobile applications, and was illegally arrested and kept in the Arthur Road Jail for 63 days for a crime he didn’t commit and hasn’t been proven in the Court. Though he received bail, his legal proceedings stayed active. Earlier, Kundra had described his disappointment with the media reports that connected his wife Shilpa Shetty to his legal happenings, calling them unfair. He emphasised that his family supports him and wants the attention to remain on legal results and not on baseless speculations.
