Rohit Saraf is ‘excited’ as he begins filming for his next rom-com

National crush Rohit Saraf has begun shooting for the upcoming rom-com titled ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’, which is being directed by Shashank Khaitan. Sharing a picture of a clapboard from the sets, Khaitan wrote ‘Day 1 – Sincere Gratitude’. Saraf reshared the picture on his social media and expressed that he is “so excited” about this project, which will feature the actor sharing the screen space for the first time with Sanya Malhotra, Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan. The film also marks Saraf’s first collaboration with Khaitan.

As soon as the casting was announced, fans of Rohit Saraf were excited to see him in yet another rom-com project. The actor, who has won audiences’ hearts with his popular series ‘Mismatched’, promises to solidify his position as the ‘national crush’ all over again with this film.

Meanwhile, beyond ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’, Saraf is gearing up for the release of ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’, which will see him sharing the screen space with Pashmina Roshan for the first time. The film is set to release on June 28. Rohit also has ‘Mismatched 3’ in the pipeline. He had recently wrapped the shooting of the OTT project, which sees him sharing the screen space with Prajakta Koli. He will be reprising the role of Rishi Shekhawat in the series, which is set to stream on OTT this year.
