Technical Exposure Visit of MSMEs and Startups Successfully Concludes at CFTRI, Mysuru under RAMP Scheme
Indore, September 19, 2026. A technical exposure visit of 35 MSME entrepreneurs and startup representatives from the spice and food processing sector of Madhya Pradesh was successfully conducted at the CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysuru, under the World Bank-supported Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MoMSME), Government of India.
The visit was organized from September 15 to 19, 2026, by the Madhya Pradesh Laghu Udyog Nigam (MPLUN) and the Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of Madhya Pradesh (DoMSME), through PHDCCI.
During the visit, participants were provided with technical and practical information on technologies related to spice processing, value addition, quality management, food safety, quality testing, packaging, scientific storage, shelf-life management, and new product development. Under the guidance of CFTRI experts, the participants not only gained an understanding of these processes but also received practical insights into ways to implement them in their respective businesses.
Representatives from Indore, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Guna, Katni, Harda, Ratlam, Sagar, Gwalior, Sehore, Shivpuri, and Bhopal districts participated in the visit.
This initiative is an important step towards promoting technological upgradation, quality improvement, innovation, and value addition among MSMEs and startups associated with the spice and food processing sector in Madhya Pradesh.
