Varun Dhawan Celebrates as Dishoom Completes a Decade of Its Release, Shares Interesting BTS Clicks
Varun Dhawan is in a celebratory mood as his 2016-release action-comedy ‘Dishoom’ has clocked 10 glorious years since its powerpacked release. Looking back at the journey, the actor took to his social media handle to share a series of exciting BTS clicks with director Rohit Dhawan and co-stars John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez. Capturing the journey in its purest form, the unseen pictures showcases the team living the shoot, getting goofy and having incredible fun, whether on-sets or during promotions.
What captures Dhawan’s mood even more clearly is his heartfelt note. “Toh DISHOOM. Had the best time making a film with my brothers Rohit, @thejohnabraham @jacquelinefernandez. We shot a large portion of it in UAE. How time flies but anytime India ko bura kahaan toh dishoom can be back. 10 years,” he wrote.
Varun Dhawan brought a smooth mix of comedy and action to his character, Junaid Ansari, making it more lively and appealing purely because of his clear understanding of the character’s demands. The actor shouldered Dishoom and added gravitas to its world of thrill, action and drama, whether through its chartbusters tracks or his equation with John Abraham or his banter with Jacqueline Fernandez.
The film emerged as a hit, and became a strong addition to Varun Dhawan’s body of work.
