The contestants include a ruthless philanthropist, a bhangra rapper, a young prodigy with an overprotective family, a reckless actress, a lovelorn businessman, and an entrepreneurial yogi. It’s all about backstage intrigues abound as the competitors battle on stage and behind-the-scenes.
Talking about the film, Andrea Manath, Programmer at Bandra Film Festival, said, “We are really excited to curate the classic comic caper Loins of Punjab at the Bandra Film Festival. It is a 2007 release but this film feels fresh even today. Over the past few months we have been receiving amazing viewership for all our films and we are sure this one will have some nostalgic resonance as well.”
BFF, a digital film festival which started in March 2021 has a slate of 50+ films from filmmakers all across the country & cutting across multiple genres, languages and formats.
