Welfare Kitchen Organized at IIM Indore
IIM Indore’s student initiative, i-Help organized its annual fund-raising event ‘Welfare Kitchen’ on the campus during IIT Indore vs IIM Indore cultural faceoff.
A food stall was set up during the event and items ranging from sandwiches, maggi, pasta, shakes and other beverages were sold. In just 4 hours, they served more than 300 customers and helped raise more than Rs. 15000 for the cause of education.
The proceedings of the event will be used for the benefit of government school children that i-Help volunteers go to teach every Thursday. Speaking about the initiative, Samyukta, i-Help coordinator said, ”The event was a huge success as we managed to collect an even higher surplus than last year. It will definitely act as big motivator for the i-Help team in its upcoming initiatives.”
