Indore Management Association organized its WebEx Webinar Live session series, Unfolding Secrets: THE IMA Way with Mr. Harsh Pati Singhania, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, JK Paper Ltd. on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 on the topic “Future of Work & Compassionate Leadership”.

Mr. Harsh Pati Singhania started the session by stating that; Covid pandemic is almost a shock in all of us life. It has made us to learn how to become Tech Savvy.

Major Key points he discussed with the gathering are as follows:

Lockdown was an aim to provide time for our medical infrastructure.

We need to be cautious instead of getting panic.

Unless we are going to immune, we can’t save ourselves from this virus.

Change the way we are working.

“Challenges are what, make life interesting & overcome them, make life meaningful”.

Getting the economy back on track is an important task.

Work from everywhere is a new normal.

Situations will arise which require quick resolution.

Humanness – work from home has its own space, issue is really going to be advisable on the humane point of view.

A lot of communication happens through our gestures, work from home lacks in the emotional interaction.

Organizations so far designed for efficiency but it is the time to design the organizations for resiliency, more flexibility, agility & adaptability.

Customers shall be dealt according to their experiences of product, in terms of overall delivery experience.

There will be definitely a component of every business will go online.

Digitally wired organizations will emerge in future where tasks can be completed remotely.

Greater diversity of change in organization’s culture. Belongingness for common purpose will bind the organizations as everyone will not be available at the same place at the same time.

Partnership between companies will increase to provide delivery services.

Collaborative working between teams will increase for completion of work.

Our own mindsets – We all have been brought up with our mindset to work, so to find the way to accomplish our goals, so be a learner.

Learn to be lifelong learner in this longer life span wherein paradigm of working will change & productivity will increase.

Full time to fixed term employment, they need not to be present in the organizations whole time.
