Sushmita Sen lends her voice to narrate the story of ‘Durga’

Star Bharat recently unveiled the promo of their upcoming show ‘Durga’. The show is set to go on air in December with its promising star cast The makers are leaving no stones unturned they have roped in gorgeous and talented Chahat Pandey to portray the titular role of Durga and brilliant and vibrant actor Avinash Mishra who will portray the role of male protagonist Dev.  Apart from the lead pair, the stunning Rakhanda Khan will make a comeback with a strong character in the show.

A simple story of an ardent devotee of SherawaliMaa who protects Rupam from all the evil forces as she believes the goddess has chosen her for this task. For a beautiful story like Durgas’ the makers have chosen two prominent faces from the television industry. The show houses the most popular genre family drama with right amount of drama quotient in it.

Sushmita Sen who recently won many hearts with her fabulous performance in a web series is all set to lend her voice as a narrator for ‘Durga’.

A source close to the makers revealed they have approached the actress for the same and Sushmita has very much liked the story about the courage and the backdrop of the show that revolves around faith.

The source further revealed that being an ardent devotee of MaaDurga herself and the intriguing storyline of the show has grabbed her attention towards the show.
