Running high on the festive and patriotic spirit, a number of Bollywood celebrities expressed their excitement for the special day. Amongst them, Pia Bajpiee regards the day as a great opportunity to think about our national heroes and freedom fighters.
“I think India is a great example of being a flourishing nation. Over the years, we have moved forward as a country all the while maintaining the love and harmony between people. Personally, I feel there are a lot of good things about our country, and it’s a great day to celebrate all those things. It is our duty to maintain the beauty of this country. We should always look forward to the betterment of India.” Says the actress.
India celebrates Republic Day every year on the 26th of January since 1950 when the Constitution of India came into force. Republic Day in India is of great importance in the history as it brings to us all about each and every struggle of Indian freedom. People who were fighting for Independence of India give us inspiration to fight our battles to this day. To stand up for the right reasons and to follow a good way of life.
