New episodes will drop one week early on Amazon Music starting 1st June 2024, before being available elsewhere. The Streaming Show aims to tell the Indian streaming story so far, by speaking to the artists and filmmakers who’ve played a defining role in shaping it. After guests like Vikramaditya Motwane, Aparna Purohit, Vir Das, Nikkhil Advani and Lisa Joy Nolan last season, this time the podcast has a spectacular lineup of guests including Producer Siddharth Roy Kapur, Screenwriters Varun Grover and Sumukhi Suresh, Showrunner Sudip Sharma, Film Editors Antara Lahiri and Nitin Baid, and the dynamic duo of Indian streaming Raj & DK, among others.

Talking in an episode about the plight of smaller films at the box office, Producer Siddharth Roy Kapoor agreed that it’s never been more difficult to grab the attention of an audience, whether it’s a show or a film, adding, “smaller films are always going to find it harder theatrically. But now (with streaming) they have a non-theatrical home too, to be loved and enjoyed over generations”.

We are excited to collaborate with The Streaming Show podcast with Suchin Mehrotra, and elated about bringing it to Amazon Music listeners one week early.”
