It’s melody, family and Prem all over again…Yeh Prem Mol Liya title track out now by Rajshri Productions and Himesh Reshammiya Melodies

The music of Rajshri has always been more than just a soundtrack, it is the music of our festivals and functions and in some ways the sound of our simpler times. Music has been woven into the emotional weave of its films, from the enduring melodies of Maine Pyar Kiya and Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! to Hum Saath-Saath Hain, Vivah and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Continuing that musical tradition, the title track of Sooraj R. Barjatya’s Yeh Prem Mol Liya is now out, with Himesh Reshammiya returning to the world of Barjatya romance with a new melody sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Nihal Tauro. The song marks the first musical glimpse into the upcoming family entertainer starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari.

The evening begins with live musicians playing as guests arrive, followed by a voiceover and flute-led opening that sets the mood around music and the emotion of Yeh Prem Mol Liya. The audience will be taken through Rajshri’s legacy and Sooraj R Barjatya’s journey before introducing Sooraj, followed by Himesh. The red curtains then open for the first play of the title track, which simultaneously goes live on YouTube.

After the song, Sooraj and Himesh will have a conversation around the visuals, music, filmmaking and the evolution of songs, before Himesh introduces the audience to the emotions behind the track and Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari take the stage for a live performance. This will be followed by a special symphony celebrating the musicians behind the song. The evening then moves into another musical segment, with Himesh introducing an unreleased song and performing “Tum Jeene Ki Wajah” on solo guitar, before returning with Ayushmann, Sharvari and Sooraj for an acoustic rendition of “Yeh Prem Mol Liya”, bringing the evening to a musical close with a flower shower.

With music being a trademark of the Rajshri experience, Yeh Prem Mol Liya is being mounted as a full-fledged Himesh Reshammiya musical, with the composer creating seven songs for the film. The title track sets the tone for that soundtrack, bringing together Barjatya’s emphasis on emotion and melody with Reshammiya’s contemporary musical sensibility. The brief for the album has been to create songs that are simple, soulful and have the kind of mass appeal associated with the filmmaker’s most remembered soundtracks.

The collaboration also carries its own history. Reshammiya reunites with Barjatya after the blockbuster Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, marking their return to a musical world where romance, family and relationships are expressed as much through song as through dialogue. For Rajshri, this has been a defining part of its cinema whose songs became embedded in popular culture.

The newly released title track has the serenading voice of Shreya Ghoshal and Nihal Tauro, with the song offering the first introduction to the world of Yeh Prem Mol Liya. The pairing also brings Ghoshal’s established melodic voice into Barjatya’s universe, while Tauro lends his voice to the new-generation love story at the centre of the film.

The song arrives as the makers prepare to take the film’s music beyond the digital space. On September 20, Himesh Reshammiya will perform the Yeh Prem Mol Liya music live at Mumbai’s Royal Opera House with a nearly 25-member musical ensemble, in an exclusive, first-of-its-kind evening built around the film’s songs. The title track will be presented as part of the live musical experience.

Directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya and starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sharvari, Yeh Prem Mol Liya is produced by Rajshri Productions in association with Mahaveer Jain Films. The film is slated to release in theatres on November 27, 2026.
